Summer in the south? Hot! But shady breezes and sweet tea keep us cool . . . In the studio I'm working a couple of commissions and trying a fabulous new paper I found. Take a look! Available on my website or at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment, 2nd floor HAL Gallery. Stay cool everybody!
Hung a new exhibit yesterday at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment in Huntsville, Alabama! And found a delish new restaurant there! There's lots of fabulousness here - come eat, shop, explore art - and Spring Concerts on the Dock are coming soon!!
Had a great show at Trinity Market Place March 2-3! New paintings in new homes, loved seeing friends and meeting new clients. And proceeds benefitted 305 8th Street (home for special needs adults), Upper Sand Mountain Parish (community in foothills of the Appalachian Mountains) and Trinity children and youth missions. Thanks to all who shopped!
So appreciate my wonderful clients and everyone who's enjoyed my art. It is such a joy to create and when it connects with others, it's so special. So thankful for 2017's exhibits, commissions, a tribe of artists, epiphanies and cherished family and friends. Now ready to create 2018! Cheers!
The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year! Art is a beautiful, one of a kind gift for the people on your list. I've just placed new pieces in my HAL Gallery space at Lowe Mill - and I'm happy to ship within the continental United States. Simply contact me: amymcbroomstudio@gmail.com.
Thrilled to be part of the "Represent" exhibit in Montgomery, AL at the Alabama Council for the Arts Gallery. Wonderful women artists of Alabama exhibited a variety of styles and mediums. And the artists talks at the closing reception were wonderfully insightful.
Excited to among amazing Alabama women artists in the juried exhibit "Bearings" at the University of North Alabama. Here's a glimpse of the closing reception day. Special shout out to Jill Johnson who guides this exhibit team!
Summer in the South? Beautiful and hot! We've been south to the beach and soon going north to St. Louis - it's always good to see family and friends. And in the studio? Here's a large commission in progress...shipping to Virginia this week. And a small commission delivered yesterday in Alabama.
Quick news: Over the last two weeks, pieces have shipped to Atlanta and Scottsdale, Arizona! Exciting! Now back to the studio . . .
